🍩 Crochet Donut Pattern

🧵 Materials

  • Beige yarn (base)

  • Pink yarn (frosting)

  • Small scraps of colorful yarn (sprinkles)

  • 3.0 mm crochet hook

  • Stuffing

  • Yarn needle

🔄 Base (Donut Ring)

  1. Foundation: Chain 20, join with slip stitch to form a ring.

  2. Round 1: sc around (20).

  3. Round 2: sc, inc repeat (30).

  4. Round 3: sc around (30).

  5. Round 4: 2 sc, inc repeat (40).

  6. Round 5–6: sc around (40).

  7. Round 7: 2 sc, dec repeat (30).

  8. Round 8: sc around (30).

  9. Round 9: sc, dec repeat (20).

  10. Round 10: sc around (20). 👉 This creates the donut ring. Stuff lightly before closing.

🍓 Frosting (Pink Top)

  1. Attach pink yarn to Round 5.

  2. Work shell stitch edge: (5 dc in same stitch, skip 1, sl st in next).

  3. Continue around for wavy frosting effect.

✨ Sprinkles

  • Use small scraps of colorful yarn.

  • Embroider short straight stitches randomly on frosting.

🎀 Finishing

  • Weave in all ends neatly.

  • Shape donut evenly by adjusting stuffing.

  • Optional: Add a tiny embroidered smile for kawaii style.
